Lessons Venues and places to skate in Sydney

Sydney Harbour Bridge Kirribilli / Milsons Point (lesson then hire) | Centennial Park (hire after lesson) | Bondi Beach (hire after lesson)
Sydney Harbour Bridge - (aka Kirribilli - Milsons Point)
Bradfield Plaza in Kirribilli | Milsons Point - is where we run lessons. Kirribilli is a perfect starting point for Sydney skating tours or fitness skating for the more proficient visiting skaters & tourists.Nothing is more fun than putting what you've learnt into practice by rollerblading across the Sydney Harbour Bridge and beyond with our experienced instructors to guide you! As well as being great fun its a lesson, tour and photo opportunity all in one. As with all our lessons you'll improve your skating skills... with the added bonus that (weather permitting) you'll get to see Sydney Harbour as you cruise across the Bridge. In the event of heavy rain we may move our lesson one block away to Burton Street (its only a block away from Bradfield Plaza) because it is a sheltered area! Milsons Point | Kirribilli Venue

Centennial Park
If you have had already a lesson with Rollerblading Sydney and decided to hire skates for the week via our rollerblading hire option go and explore Centennial Park in the Eastern Suburbs! Centennial Park is a great place for experienced rollerbladers able to comfortably stop down hills noted for its green surroundings, restricted vehicle speed limits, free parking, refreshments and closeness to public transport. Positioned in the heart of the Eastern Suburbs. The bitumen surface has been recently resurfaced but beware the hills (not recommended for beginners) plus crowds on weekends can be an issue. Consider getting a lesson in Kirribilli | Milsons Point where we have an undercover venue in case of rain. Centennial Park has no wet weather skating options and so we do NOT run lessons there. Bondi Beach - (Skate Park)
For those rollerbladers who have experienced Venice Beach, California, and thought it was cool, well mate... you haven't seen anything until you've been to Sydney's Bondi Beach. Bondi hosted the Sydney 2000 Olympics Beach Volleyball and has an abundance of places to enjoy rollerblading so long as you have good skating skills i.e. dodge the runners. The surface is not smooth enough for lessons. Bondi skatepark is excellent for aggressive inline skaters.

(The skater on the right of this old photo is James O'Connor and the trick is called an invert / hand plant. The skate park has been revamped since this was taken)
